Privacy Policy

RxTyper is a training app for pharmacy technician students and trainees. It lets you practice entering prescriptions and interpreting sig codes, then shows you where an entry went wrong. This policy explains what information the app collects when you use it, how we use that information, and the choices you have.

Every prescription in the app is simulated training material. The prescriber names, phone numbers, NPI and DEA numbers shown on them are fictional and do not identify real people. RxTyper does not connect to real pharmacy systems, and does not handle real prescriptions or patient health information.

• Account information — the name and email address you sign up with.
• Practice performance data — your answers, right/wrong counts, response times, error categories and daily quiz activity, so the dashboard can track your progress.
• Subscription status — whether you hold an active Pro subscription, and its renewal date, as reported to us by the App Store. We never see your card number or billing details — Apple handles that.

We use the information above to:

• Operate your account, sync your progress across sessions, and show your statistics dashboard.
• Unlock Pro features once a subscription is active, and enforce daily quiz limits on the free tier.
• Respond to support requests you send us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data to train third-party advertising profiles.

Pro subscriptions are billed and managed entirely by the Apple App Store. We receive only the subscription status and renewal date needed to unlock Pro features — never your payment details. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your device's App Store settings.

We share information only with the small set of service providers that keep the app running, and only as needed to provide the service:

• Cloud hosting and database providers that store your account and progress data.
• Apple, for Sign in with Apple authentication and App Store subscription services.

We disclose information beyond this only if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Data is encrypted in transit, and access to production systems is limited to the engineers who need it to operate the service. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.

We keep your account and progress data for as long as your account is active, so your history stays intact between sessions. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us below; we will delete it within 30 days except where we must retain limited records to comply with law.

RxTyper is built for pharmacy technician students and working professionals and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and notify you in the app. Continued use of RxTyper after a change means you accept the updated policy.
